King Sobhuza II Memorial Pavilion
A terracotta-coloured dome shelters a statue within an open, arched pavilion.

The story behind the place
King Sobhuza II Memorial Park at Lobamba commemorates the king who led the Swati nation to independence in1968. The National Trust Commission manages the park and records its opening in1994. The domed pavilion houses a statue and stands among lawns and gardens. It is distinct from the park’s mausoleum and eternal torch, each of which has a different role in the memorial landscape.
