Old St Gerard’s Church
Red doors and three pointed stone gables give this small Anguillian chapel a memorable face.

The story behind the place
The original St Gerard’s church was dedicated in 1966 at Wallblake in The Valley. A diocesan history recalls parishioners gathering stones from the beaches for its distinctive front. Pale pebble borders frame larger coloured stones, while stained glass adds another kind of colour above the entrance. The small chapel connects a recognisable piece of architecture with the practical work of the community that helped build it.
